Word came this month that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints would not be holding any pageants this year, due to COVID-19, and that the Hill Cumorah Pageant has been discontinued. Last year was supposed to be the last run of the Hill Cumorah Pageant, and again because of COVID-19 that didn't happen. Since the idea of a pageant is a little foreign to most people nowadays, or associated with beauty contests, here's a great little video documentary that provides a look at the one at Hill Cumorah and why Latter-day Saints find them important.
